I think that they are set on keeping it snub only, but we'll see. A real hangar would be so easy to do.

I wish I'd gotten the Polaris when she was on sale. I'd rather have fewer ships than more, haha. It would have been a great way to spread out my money. Oh well.

Its the ship I waited for quite some time and I love it for what is it, not the aesthetics. Wait I take that back, I love the way it looks!
Its a transport ship more than a cargo hauler in my mind. Load up your Dragonflies, Noxes, Starship Troopers, medical bay stuff, propaganda, drugs, weapon racks, etc and profit from some smuggling runs. Its also strikes me as a home base ship; something you can do a little of everything in so you may not need to dock and swap out for another ship for certain tasks.
If you wanna just do straight up do cargo runs of raw materials then a Hull A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,Zed are your better options.
The Carrack is fanfuckingtastic for exploration, but that's a totally different role.

I concur. That's why I have a Cat. I just hope she lives up to expectations.
My exploration ship would be a Polaris never know what you will find in those deep pockets of space.

It is easy to understand the non love for the caterpillar. It isn't the master of anything and is pretty meh at what it can currently do. There maybe modules at some point but that maybe after release (I am just saying they do not seem to have any current plans to make any). Not all ships need to be the best if that was the case we could have just the one combat ship, one explorer, one transport one miner etc. What is suprising is $300 in any game should be a decent in game purchase but somehow star citizen has reset the benchmark and that only gets you something okay!
Anyways I own one I have been tempted to ccu it but its currently the only ship with parking sensors so it should help me park!

Yeah. We are talking like a meter or two in length would suffice for the owner to have a selection of a dozen ships they could load. In real life no one would deliberately nerf their product like this. Seriously, there are more than a dozen fighters and bombers that can fit a hangar that is 22X22 meters.
. . .but even if they don't fix it, looks like the Avengers will fit. ;-)
