If the face-maker gives people the control to make their own faces - or faces of their favorite TV/film/whatever it could be noting short of a virtual film set.
A friend of mine once played an online FPS where they let you use your webcam to put your face on your character, so he printed off an A4 picture of Gandhi and held it infront of the webcam to make that his FPS characters face.
"Aside from the irony... Gandhi?" I asked somewhat accusingly being a Pacifist Of Convenience.
"Well, it was going to be Hitler but the printer didn't work... So I tried again. Didn't work. And again and again and again, clicking print, checking the settings, almost everything - didn't work... so I gave up."
"Right...?"
"So when my dad gets home from work, he turns the printer on and all the cached prints of Hitler print out. Must have been twenty in all. He thought I'd gone nuts and joined the far right... So i used Gandhi instead, although no one in the game could work out who I was."
