Right, so I've picked one up with store credits with the intention of just sticking it in my buy backs just in case as it does look pretty cool.

However, if there are people who have an interest in taking part of that kind of group FPS venture then I'll either keep it or work towards buying it back in the near future.

If not, I'll fuck it off.

I am keeping mine, as I am in the Yellow Jackets group. Any possible FPS ship will be in my fleet.

I've been kicking it back and forth since Friday night.

I've melted it, used $50 to upgrade the Terrapin in the Explorer pack to a Redeemer instead.

It's a beautiful ship, it really is one of the best concepts they have done in ages, but I can't justify $425 on a ship with one extremely limited function.

I've used the rest to upgrade a Buccaneer to an Orion, which may or may not end up as a Reclaimer come Thursday. (It will end up a Reclaimer by Thursday lol)

The more I think about this ship, I have to believe the stealth must sort of work at least against stationary objects if the prowler is going slow (drifting in), to make this worth the cost. They also sort of do not want them to be the standard pirate gank ship for that very reason, so definitely priced a bit for rarity. Even so a couple of these with two forward firing s4s will hurt most ships, just they cannot do anything against runners.

There are upper and lower decks in the Prowler, with rooms behind the cockpit but forward of the troop transport area. Does anyone know what these two rooms are used for? Are there any beds? Is there a scan station or EM Warfare station?

It seems odd to ask people for so much cash and not say what half the ship is used for, nor the stats of the weapons.

Details are not forthcoming. We'll have to wait until it goes through the pipeline. Only confirmed 'rooms' are the cockpit and a ready room, and a small bay in the back.

Note the buggy inside at time index 1:00-1:06. If indeed "Teller" is an unofficial CIG source, this would imply they plan to allow players to repurpose the craft by removing the soldier stations. We haven't talked about making this into a transport, or an EM Warfare bird, or a tracker, or an explorer, but what if these are possible?
Oooooo. A multipurpose Prowler.

Yeah, I have a Cutty for the same job. Maybe even a Redeemer.
I'm in the Cutlass fan club as of yesterday. I really just did it because my already overpriced Sabre will be fine in the buyback tab for a while, and I feel like the Cutlass is becoming way too much ship for the price point. Hard to turn down with the rework features.

My thoughts exactly Mike. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cutty ends up taking a price hike after this. Hence all the CCUs I bought during the sale.

I'm right there with you. I can easily see the prices going up from now on. A month ago, I would have been on the fence about it. Now though, I am seeing a future full of increases. Even a halfway decent marketing department would have noticed there was a huge chunk of the community that was upset about the low sale prices on the SH and the Farer. Plus, the sheer numbers of ships sold really solidified it. The ships that were put up at a discount didn't really sell any better than they usually would have. They might have even sold less.

The ships that were put up for sale at a seemingly overpriced amount, sold like wildfire. Hell, the Polaris gave them their most profitable day at ~$1.5 million. So, the combination of those things leads to one conclusion. They have officially been encouraged both financially and verbally to freely hike up the prices. For better or for worse, we'll see where it takes us.

Well said Sir Bruttle. I hadn't thought about it in that context.
