Drake Cutlass Red, RSI Apollo...? Or do you mean ships that are not dedicated to the medical profession?

Cutlass red doesn't have a med bay it has med beds that are slated towards stabilizing patients like an ambulance (it currently allows respawning but only temparary while they continue to bring online more of the medical game play plus ships needed for the feature ie Apollo).

And yes the Apollo I had forgotten about but its technically the only sub capital class ship with a true med bay but its dedicated towards that role, I truly believe if the Carrack was concepted now it would also be lacking a med bay but it lucks out from being an old design ship (it could have ended up with something more akin to the Cutlass Red to stabilize crew until it could meet up with a hospital or capital ship).

From a game design perspective it contributes to the risk/reward of any sort of combat given the time impact of being wounded/death. The importance of ships like the Kraken and Apollo as pirates and griefers will have to take into consideration the ramifications of combat. Even if they have the target outgunned there is still a risk if they push the target into shooting back they can be wounded and that's going to require them to seek out medical attention that carries its own risk of being locked up. From a FPS I typically don't worry about being shot a couple times so long as I can out shoot them I win. A med pack or defib solves the after kill healing and I can then engage the next target. The only game that comes close is Escape from Tarkov and even that allows for almost complete healing on the battlefield.
