In preparation for the imminent release of 3.18...

I'm almost tempted to set up a second pc to do cargo handling with and save on the run back and forth between scraping and stacking... Not sure if I have an old machine here that can run the game, though.

This is a bug. If you look at the extraction rates on the split screen, it is clear that salvaging intact hulls is intended to extract faster than extracting from pieces. He's just not reading his gauges.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but to go along with the recently implemented hull scraping, and the news of the upcoming ability to salvage\remove components\weapons from ships with tractor beams, work is also concluding\has concluded on "Vehicle munching" according to the tracker...

It's possible that 3.19 will also bring...
