Yes, ships purchased in-game will also be wiped if I am reading this correctly.
The only things that will remain on your account are items on the website account (real money ships, subscriber awards, etc.) The good news is that subscriber awards, real money weapons and armor, etc., should all be reset and available for players to lose again.

Oh well, I got me a twink for the "Zero to Hero" type of gameplay anyhow.
Because the main account has way to much stuff collecting dust in a corner.
...
Come to think of it, since reputation gets wiped too... now should be the perfect time to open a tab at the bar, righ?

Did anyone really expect anything different?

I also expect a ship sale with longer range ships with the release of 4.0. Pyro is behind a pay wall, you can't really experience it in a starter ship.

Yeah I don’t get the reworking of quantum fuel amounts. We need the range for Pyro, not less.
The quantum nerf bat is to encourage those that own beerfarers to betray their party tanks by filling them with various forms of fuel. It just means we need a means of using alcohol to fuel our TESTified ships instead. Cheers!

The whole quantum fuel thing needs a complete refactor I've been saying this for years it doesnt make an sense and it ruins "fuel delivery gameplay" as you can literally fly from one end of the system to another for the cost of a t-shirt in the IEE booth.

Fuel should be fekin expensive.

Carrier based craft were not supposed to have the range for Pyro. Most small ships were not supposed to be able to even cross Stanton.
The lack of range for small ships was the selling point of the Liberator. The lack of range for small fighters was the selling point of the Vanguard.

The rework of the Quantum tanks and drives is so they can balance them in the larger Universe now that we are no longer just in Stanton.

Fuel should be fekin expensive.
It shouldn't be all that expensive. Cheaper fuel means more commerce, more traveling around. It makes small ships economical.

If fuel is "fekin expensive" then only big ships would exist and passenger transport would be the key profession.

We are TEST Squadron! Problem easily solved with a direct blood transfusion from vein to engine. Surely we could use @Talonsbane EtOH infused blood to juice our engines enough to break warp 10! Didn’t he say he wanted to play as an engineer?

My post is more about the larger ships that had recent quantum tank nerfs (ie. Corsair) rather than smaller fighter craft.

As fun as that would be, I'm a genetic anomaly that my body doesn't absorb alcohol. It just passes through me, which, while great for drinking contests, sucks when it is ready to leave the body. Think submerging some place sensitive on the body covered in paper cuts into pure rubbing alcohol & then holding it there until the pain becomes numb without any positive effects.
