1070 is the real bargain as it appears to be better performance than a 980ti at less than $400.
Sucks to be anybody that just bought a 980ti or below over the past month.

Exactly my thought. Been holding off for over a year to pull the trigger and with this price point the question is what case to buy today :)
I did get one 4 months ago, but I'm holding out for an SLI Volta in 2018 as that increase looks SICK!

I am still running a GTX660, so the 1070 will be my new card.
So only 1 more year until Star Citizen is out at that point....
Ouch, man...
I'd say SC drops in 2017, but gets more of a finished state like they're imagining in 2018.
I just built my pc 2 years ago. And upgraded card to 980ti several months ago.
It runs SC at 40-50 right now. And I don't plan on VR for a couple years, I want them to get the kinks worked out.
