Non-lethal is also good for bounties or pirating to not destroy the target, so definitely useful.
Ok, thanks for TEST'ing this. Maybe a bug or a feature with the rented F8C, which I'm unable to use in AC or change components.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe that you can use ships rented in the PU in AC, but I know that if you own the ship & it's in your account hangar, then you usually can use the ship in AC as long as it's also released into the Verse.

If I play SC like I play starfield and cyberpunk then I'm a cold blooded psychopath. Even when they are down I double tap to make sure.
It turns out it is in my hangar, but it isn't listed as a "stand alone" ship, it ends up being listed as some kind of "perk", so didn't notice it there until I did a little more digging.
Takes all sorts to make/unmake a world.
Is it just me or is the page active again after the ship showdown? Is there another hunt?

IIRC, Avenger_One said it is a blast to fly and very deadly, but easy pickings for most light fighters—pretty much the same as the Sabre. Gladius kill them dead.
Welllll, my friend got 2 tickets in 5 minutes I flew it, liked it, bought it. Wasn't planning on this purchase.

I recently saw a Lancer MIS cut the F8 in half in no time. Apparently it can’t manage S3 missiles at all.
For those not current on missile play, S3s don’t do a lot more damage than S2s. The real difference is S2s have a 5km range, and S3s have a 25km range. That places the quietly flown MIS outside sensor range.
The F8 kills I saw were at brawling range and none of the missiles missed their target.

meh price tag is way too high for a single seat fighter... not really interested in buying it, but claiming a ticket is not a bad idea this round, just in case CIG decide to run an event to gift a conversion kit for the military version like happend with the hornet...
Price tag IS high but I think that's also why they haven't nerfed it further. The glaive is also expensive for what it is and it's terrible. I own both. Moral of the story? Somebody take away my credit cards or can somebody be put on duty to spray me in the face with water everytime I try to make a purchase?

Call me sceptical, but I don't think CIG is not considering nerfing the F8 just because is a high priced limited ship, is just they don't have a better combat ship to sell that need to perform better then it... wait until they came up the right design and you'll see the nerf hammer striking even the F8.
I really like the little boat but the loot to and from its tiny space is a pain for multiple use...Argggg
But I have owned one since the Gold ticket thing started God knows when now...But she and I are not on speaking terms since the new update. Called out a Nomad for some loot run and it spawned upside down on my lightning and now the Nomad cannot be called up or claimed on different servers or locations in the verse.
I'm afraid the F8 has become a Karen and jinxed my ability to call on one of her rivals...Cheeky little thing

I'd love to have a golden ticket, just to say that I have 1. I have a pair of F8s gained through being a space whale, so I don't need to purchase 1, especially not while in the process of getting ready to move again. God I hate moving!
