It's a good thing that I'm allergic to cats, so I naturally keep a healthy distance. After looking at the pic, I'm not sure if it is a Husky or a Malamute due to the perceived color pattern to be honest.

If I use huskey (without a capital letter and without a breed qualification), it has the same meaning as "dog", except, it's a compliment. I also think most of the time even experience observers could not draw a line between Malamute and some Alaskan Husky lines without a DNA test. Even then they might get it wrong.
