I'm EsDee a long time backer and currently a Space Marshal (Citizen #335507) aspiring to hit Wing Commander during the next Invictus, committing my Imperator coupon to an Idris P+K.
I currently have 43 vehicles - 38 ships & 5 land vehicles, not including the additional 2 Ursas and P-52 Merlin that are included with my Carrack Expedition, the "Ophanim." This isn't intended as a flex! Most of these are meant to serve as a standby fleet that members of my primary org, JCS (Joint Coterie of Stars @ JCS Discord / JCS Org Page ) have available to use at no cost!
That being said, I'm a Hornet fanboy and own every civilian variant and a F7A Military Upgrade kit, with one of my long-standing dreams being to acquire one of the rare true F7A Mk2s for my personal use, legitimately. Beyond them, my ships are largely focused on security & support, I don't really have any dedicate mining or cargo ships, but have plenty of ships that can assist them:
Where you from stranger?
I'm from the US, specifically California where I've lived near or in San Francisco Sacramento most of life.
What drew you to Star Citizen?
Way back in 2013 one of my best friends gave me a $50 gift card for Star Citizen as an early Christmas (before Luminalia was a thing!) present and collectively all of our roommates became obsessed. We followed progress daily and participated in as much of the early development as we could!
What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
Despite being a combat pilot myself, I really look forward to other mechanics opening up in things like customization and engineering. I have an Endeavor & Collider ready to help custom tune our ship components and weaponry and look forward to how that customization and modularity evolve as we get closer and closer to a complete game system.
What was the first game you remember playing?
I had an SNES as one of my first game consoles, the first game that really made an impact on me was Earthbound; but, I absolutely loved racing games and bullet hell/shooters as they became more and more bizarre and difficult over the years.
What other games do you play?
At the moment, not much! I own literally 200 games on steam thanks to Humble Bundle, as well as a few titles on other platforms, but I primarily log hours in the PU & PTU messing around. Aside from that, I'll occasionally get roped into playing LoL or give Planetside 2 a shot for a bit before getting frustrated with its imbalance.
How did you first hear about Test Squadron and what convinced you to join?
Oh god, I've known about you guys since Operation Pitchfork was a thing (I've got that paint, by the way) but due to the previous Org limits, I didn't have affiliate space. Since that was changed, it was mostly just laziness and procrastination not signing up before.
Picard or Kirk?
Picard;
“Things are only impossible until they are not.”
