What drew you to Star Citizen?
I recently picked up a HOTAS. Does one really need any more reason to jump in to Star Citizen? The community and dev's seemed awesome from the outside looking in. So, I figured I'd jump in.
What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc)
Exploration/scouting and military/escort style gameplay.
What was the first game you remember playing?
Don't remember the name of this one, but it was a 2D side-scroller on a TurboDuo where you had a little red or blue plane. The background was pink. The first games that I truly loved were Descent and 007 Goldeneye. Freespace 2 got me into space sims.
What other games do you play?
Overload!!!! Look this up if you have not. It is in early access right now, being made by the OG's of Descent. The feel is perfect. If you were a Descent fan, Overload should not be missed.
I've been playing quite a bit of Quake Champions recently too. I am also replaying Freespace 2 with FSO (highly recommend, but I'm sure most here have already done so).
How did you first hear about Test Squadron and what convinced you to join?
I started checking out orgs online to get a feel for things. After reading through the history and manifesto I was pretty much sold. Seeing that Montoya does consistent YouTube updates/vids was another big selling point for me. Then, I saw this thread....https://testsquadron.com/threads/some-xplor-drama-also-test-not-good-for-the-community-as-a-whole.9176/ You guys are hilarious! Had to apply.
