Came for the camaraderie, stayed for the nifty forum skin.

Hope to team up with some of you for shenanigans. Carrack is an empty place, and easy to hijack without an accountabilibuddy or 10.

Just an obligatory first post here. Poking around the discord and forums.. I think we'll get along just fine.

Moo.

Where you from stranger? --- Denver, CO, US

What drew you to Star Citizen? --- I always wanted to sell virtual hotdogs to weary space travellers.

What do you look forward to most in Star Citizen? (PVP, Exploration, etc): I'm more of an explorer. But I also want my own space hotdog stand at some point.

What was the first game you remember playing? --- Leisure Suit Larry on my dad's XT. I had to brute force the "age verification." (It's a nehru jacket, btw.)

What other games do you play? --- FS2020 Alpha, RDR2, Cities Skylines, Civ VI, poker

How did you first hear about Test Squadron and what convinced you to join? Yall big. Can't miss you on the org page. That's why I'm here. More people: more fun.

Picard or Kirk?
Picard, but the annoying kid-version who wants to see his daddy NOW. NOW NOW NOW.

Thanks again for the greetings, guys. Mystery solved, I guess.

I love that I have an origin story.

He arrived abruptly.
Half-drunk, he immediately began shouting into the largest group of strangers in Star Citizen about such topics as:
How he'd already done this before..
A pornographic video game he played at 8 years old...
Tiny, recalcitrant Captain Picard....
LOL I think someone found your lost first post. Welcome to TEST again.
And the mystery of the lost intro first post is solved !! ✌
At last! Proof that I'm not crazier than usual!

did we just hit a time warp?... again?...
Welcome!
Apparently, "I'll tell you once, and I WILL tell you twice: You better delete this thread, Janet Weiss!"

Welcome to TEST Bovenius, again 🍻
I feel twice as welcome here, than any other org.

Selling hotdogs? You sound like a Banu Merchantman owner
I am but a humble cow with dreams to, one day, own my own hotdog stand on one!

(Please don't make me pull out my wallet again. I've already done some horrible things with it during Invictus week.)

Any tips for city skylines? Just picked it up in the humble bundle.

Also, welcome to test! Enjoy the complementary sarcasm and Aurora jokes!

If you're going for population, a grid cannot be beat.

You will always widen the initial main thoroughfares that you build. Adding an extra square in your grid saves work down the line.

Longer on/off ramps allow faster highway traffic.

Police are not as important as you might think.

A properly designed subway works wonders for traffic management, and it can be as square as you want.

Busses are better if you build a subway which take them into account.

Always ensure your starting configuration has enough money to randomly connect power/water after you reach the waiting period for growth.

You can always defund stuff to make emergency power and water changes.

We get forum skins? I just thought there was 42% more beer here & a lot of wonderfully wacky SC enthusiasts.

I'll be doing a bit of both exploring & trading with my BMM since I'm hoping to become max reputation with the Banu, Tevarin & Xi'An races so that I can maximize my profits trading human & alien wares between all of the species that are peaceful with us. I would however advise against trying to sell any turtle based hotdogs to the Xi'An or poultry based hotdogs to the Tevarin as they might take offense to that. However, selling those to the other may come across as morbid but profitable if treated as a rare commodity & chance for them to feast on the other. ;p

A while back, I managed to score 7 of the Leisure Suit Larry games on Steam for about $2. I'd had a blast with the 1 on the 360 & figured it would be a decent addition to my games catalog.

I have a BMM & I'm sure that your space dogs would make an udderly delicious addition to my bizarre of wares. So I'll offer to spare your wallet since the Invictus Week wasn't so kind to it.
