I've been accepted as a newby to TEST Squadron - thanks a bunch! Now ofcourse you're probably wondering what brings me here. So here goes: I love games and playing solo is good, but playing with others is just great. Doesn't matter if it's only chat or discord or to join up in events or missions. And SC is all of that. And I've joined some not so active groups but really like to hang around with other mind-liked people. Little crazy, dedicated and just having fun. Oh, and I love Beer too. And BBQ. And then I found TEST Squadron...sounds like a match! Found you guys on YouTube via the great video's of Montoya, great work, keep it up!
Got my first Atari some 32 years ago. Not sure what was the first game I've played but I do know it was on a computer with tapes. So go figure.
I've been active in the Verse since 2020 after coming from ED. Love flying (Flight Sims) and shooters (CoD, Battlefield, the Division) with multiplayers, so Star Citizen is the best of both. And the fact that it is in alpha is nice - being able to help create and support such a cool potential game. So I gave SC a go and started with the Mustang Alpha package and soon upgraded to the Avenger. Great ships. That's all I really ever thought of investing because, hey - why spend more then needed as I can earn all in game. My wallet is closed. Really. I mean that.
But then I thought, if spending more helps building more and better SC and I like the game, that means I'm investing in the future of gaming and my future of more fun. Now - i won't over do it. One more thing then. An upgrade to the Cutlass Black - the classic. Well that's where things got out of hand I guess - so.. I have bought the Hoverquad, Prospector, Vanguard Warden, MSR and the Odyssey. And this is it. For now. Really
I like helping new players getting up-and-running in the Verse and just wandering around in one of my ships. I'm from the Netherlands and usually fly between 20:00 and 22:00 CET. I like exploring, mining & merc missions. And ofcourse all events because of massive multiplayer fun.
Oh, and Picard for sure.
