High risk transport

Conie is like Millennium Falcon of Star Citizen imo. I don't have one, but few times i flew one, i really liked it.
I'm hoping to do high risk / high value cargo and/or transportations with a Freelancer Max. Put all power into engines and just hope I can outrun any pirate.
OR... Send the real valuables in my Aurora, and let another Test-members run an armed convoy as decoy. ;)

I am voting the true Testie ballet. For high risk, nothing beats an Aurora. hands down. If its good enough to haul test beer, it can haul anything.

We don't know what sort of range the Redeemer will have, and one supposes if you are a transport pilot you need good range.
I think for most transport purposes, the Andromeda is going to be hard to beat, but if you fly without escort service, you should expect to lose every conflict you enter and have your ship stolen over and over again. There are no transports that can match the forces that are so easily gathered against them. If you really want long range high risk transport service, consider the Banu Merchantman combined with several Banu Defenders flying escort. That would be a hard nut for pirates to crack. If the Andromeda is faster than the Merchantman, that might give it a significant advantage, but either way you want long range escorts, so Defenders or Vanguard.

For high risk/value, LEGAL transport: Escorted Connie with a full crew(pilot, co-pilot, engineer, all guns manned ALWAYS), dedicated snub fighter pilot and at least 4 mercs to repel boarders. For the more illegaler stuff, it really doesn't matter. Even if you have the goods in a scan-proof compartment, there's gonna be a lot of people that know whats going on, and we found out from the Miles Eckart affair, the old double cross is gonna be a thing. You're on your own in that case. Doing the legal stuff might be fun though, just depends on the profit margin after you make it less high risk.
