I didn't quite figure it out yet.
Is the Idris eligible for the Big Hitters or not?
Because they do have a peculiar blacklist of ships not allowed for vote. I get the Sabre Raven but the Glaive? Oh well, it is an old and rarely seen design...
Guess the Railen will be a strong contender. Only in what category? Industrial? Transport? Alien? All 3?
Me, I'll vote for Shiv and Clipper.
Most usefull ships for us Jacks of all trades.

This is the first year since I backed star citizen that, when they had a ship showdown, I have not participated. While I know it's a "me issue", I have just not had the same opinion of CIG since the whole Odin thing. People who did told CIG they would not buy one...got in, many long term backers with a history of buying almost everything...did not. To me, this left a sour taste in my mouth (hence, the "it's a me issue" I've also found myself unwilling to buy new ships...and I loved to purchase new ships and support the project.

I used to log into spectrum and visit the RSI website multiple times a day. Now I barely go there once every 2-3 weeks.

I know CIG has had a record year and I hope they are successful, but I am wondering if I am done with it. I just don't see them being able to have any kind of stable game within the next decade based on the backlog of things they need to create to hit 1.0, and then fix the old mechanics to work with the new stuff they create.

Let wounds heal without picking at the scab ever so often just to check what comes loose.
Or so I haven been told by people who mean well.
Turns out it doesn't work for me.
Seems I am adicted to screaming at my screen.
And what better mental torture than Star Citizen?
But hey, maybe you got some common sense left?
Then get some fresh air and come back once CIG got their sh*t together.
Let me rephrase that.
Come back after some time passed.
If CIG producing a stable game enviroment is the condition then I am not confident we'd ever see you again.
And that would be a shame...

for screaming at my screen, I play WoW with a bunch of other incompetent raiders...yes, I include myself in that description.
That also proves I have no common sense left...or, at least it's not still EverQuest, so maybe just a small piece left
CIG won't get their ...stuff... together until someone other than CR is running the show. It's ironic. I backed because of his Wing Commander Reputation. I guess I should have paid attention to his freelancer reputation.

As for never seeing me again...sorry, you folks are not getting rid of me that easy. Lots of great people here.

for getting back in the game...that means it needs to be fun, and it needs to be stable enough that my stress levels go down when playing it. My doctor says I have too much stress in my life already, I don't need my hobbies giving me more.
