I go wherever the money is! I would love to sneak into high sec space and pull off some high profile heists. But who knows if that will even be possible. I will probably end up being the bilge scum that sticks to the trade lanes.

I will travel the stars gathering 'CareBear' tears and use them to make Space Rum, to ensure no Pirate will ever go sober. I will then capture the very symbol of UEE oppression..... Gary Oldmans Idris!

We will then have the greatest 'Booze Cruise' the verse has ever seen

We need to think of ways to make money out of this aswell, simply blowing shit up in space wont cut it, we need to have an reclaimer in tow to salvage all the wrecks we produce.

Sure some boarding action and take ships unscathed would be an idea aswell, but that will be hard as hell i think.

Stealing ships for one , cargo raids would be secondary. Breaking down ship parts and selling or selling whole ship. A little bit of smuggling pirates booty ;). Contraband and fencing. Taxes and tolls over sectors of the high seas( space) and racketeering.

So have any of you guys though about were we will be conducting our 'classified' activities once we are unleashed upon the verse?

I know there is another thread discussing which system to have as our home. I might be wrong but I can't see it being in a lawless system. Also, its generally not a good idea to @!#$ on your own doorstep.

So where in the verse do you think the most lucrative hunting grounds will be? I have been looking at NYX as a good prospect.

Also found a cool 2D map with all the jump points and sizes.

Every Pirate and their grandmothers will be at Nix when the game starts, if only because of the publicity CIG has been throwing at it. So, yes it will probably be a good place to set up shop if we want to get a sort of black market thing going, but I have a feeling it will not be a very good place to hunt.

I think it's far too early. Everything is just speculation. Not to mention, that we will probably set up shop in one of the few available places until more and more open up. After a while we may just sit in one of them that we sat in to wait for something better just because everyone's tired of moving.

Also, I think that the idea of apace pirate is probably best to be mobile and not just one stationary place. Harder to pin down a moving target than a stationery one that EVERYONE will know where you're at.

.....just my opinion anyway. Just point me what direction to fly and I'll fly that way. Tell me what to shoot and I'll turn it to space dust. Until then, you can find me taking a nap on a bed in someone's ship or random station.

The reason I suggested NYX is because there are 4 large jump points and 2 medium connected to it, which suggests lots of traffic. Particularly large merchant ships, full of shiney loot.

It's a bottle neck for merchants travelling from vega/chronos and Xi'an space to Terra, plus you have pyro next door for other options.

If you are a wanted criminal travelling through UEE space could be suicide, so we might not have the luxury of travelling to any system we want.

We are a larger organisation than all the other pirate organisations combined. Even if only 10% of us decide to choose the outlaw life, its still over 800 pirates. We should be thinking 'BIG' like system lock downs and large scale operations.

We shouldn't be the ones worrying about competion from other pirate organisations, they should be to one's worried about Test.

I would love to see that - it would be SUPER COOL and I am sure we will do it from time to time, but on a daily basis, I am not sharing my money with you all! No offense but I gotta make a living. I know some of us will be getting through the day to day by running with small crews that will largely set their own agendas. If we are running a group so big we can lock down a system how would everyone get paid, I don't think it would be from pirating . . . it would more likely be from controlling trade hubs and outposts then extorting the shit out of anyone who wanted to use them (white color piracy, I guess). I for one want the pew pews.

I don't really think "TEST Piracy" is really going to stick together as one huge mega-blob. Makes a lot more sense if we break up into smaller squadrons so we can cover more ground.

After all, a) we don't want to paint a giant target on out backs and get the UEE to send a Bengal strike force after us (Or do we.....?)

b) we don't wanna "overfish the waters". If everyone knows TEST pirates hit EVERY single merchant that goes through X system, they will go around it or hire so many escorts we barely get any profit out of it. We'd probably be better off spreading out, covering more ground, and keeping everyone on their toes.

plus if operations are spread out to cover more ground, means smuggles and other logistic support can be spread around to cover more ground instead of people having to push and shove to get missions
