Welcome aboard! I assume the trip is a long while to get to the upper atmosphere and then a very short while to get from there to the ground?
You may also be interested in the Orison Diving Club, it basically involves thowing yourself off Orison City into the depths of Crusader to see where the Terminator line is (usually between 18,000m and 16,000m but depth pressure mechanics are in the works which could change that based on armour/ship). Ships are not required but may be more fun inside one or more.
