Your not a true geek if you don't have a drawer/tote/duffle bag full of cables.

I have about 3 dedicated "junk" drawers but whenever the wife ask/complains about all the wires and what they're for I say "essential backup cables" - Usually buys me at least 6 months before the cycle starts again
