CIG's 'Ship Showdown' feels like a dying event to me. No all that much dialog in the CIG forums or here on it. Seems like another ship variant sale might be more exciting?

It's more that the whole community is growing bored with the state of the game. Even Morphologis just did a video about him thinking about taking a brake and his viewership numbers plummeting. I think if they were able to get 4.0 or by citcon things would be better but as it stands we will not see it until mid next year at the earliest and we are pushing 5 years on 3.0? Most released games don't last this long.
I honestly don't know what the future holds for sc but in it's current sandbox lite state it's a buggy laggy mess.
