I will also put in a vote for the t16000s. I use two of them. There seems to be a really large jump between one of those, and a stick that's actually an improvement. For instance, you can buy the t16000 for around $80usd. Just about everything else suffers from quality control issues though until about the $250usd mark.
I use them though because of the twist. If I could get a warthog or a virpil with a z twist, I would really consider buying one. The only high quality ones I have found with a twist though are the VKB sticks, but they require an addon adapter that has been out of stock for so long i've written it off. Of course, there are some third party companies looking into making twist adapters for the warthog, but they haven't come out with anything yet.
So, I am sticking with my t16000s. Likely for the indefinite future as well. Because really, I paid $160 for my current pair but am looking at $700-$800 if a high quality set comes out. I'm not sure the performance increase above my TM's would really warrant that cost increase. There are a ton of other things you can do with that kind of cash....
