Ive been having fun with this for the last few weeks - I finally have this beast started and Im liking it.
The MFD ring is a Thrustmaster Cougar I made a custom bracket and mounted to my Corsair Keyboard
In the center is a 15 LCD button Streamdeck mounted recessed inside that gives me unlimited buttons
with custom Icons or can run macros and control OBS Streaming if I wish. I use this setup with my
Logitech X52 Pro flight system... As I no longer sit at a desk, this setup works well for me in my recliner
with two tables either side.

Looking cool.... what happened to the 2nd MFD, there still is some space on the keyboard 😁
I do have another one but Im already button poor. Im thinking of making a backplate the same
height and tilt as the display and fill the horizontal to the left. To that i can mount a small 7 inch tablet i have
for the remaining X dimension. Im going out this weekend to get some aluminum plate for this

This pic shows the tablet to the left [ tilt will be added later ] - i think this will work because
i can use it for the spectrum or remote mobiglass app?

Scratch that....I LOVE IT! too, ha ha!

Do you mind sharing some more details? It looks like you use a TV? Or do you pull your recliner up to your computer desk?

Sorry about the long post... but ask a geek about his rig and well......

The setup is stationary - I use a Vizio E50u-D2 Monitor/tv as the display - Im using 1920x1080 resolution upscaled to 4k by my TV
from my EVGA 1070 hybrid over HDMI .. sounds odd but the math works and the pic is flawless with no latency or ghosting.

I run sound from the ASUS motherboard via optical cable to my Yamaha receiver over quad Bose 301s with transducer built in the chair
for Sub Base [ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002ZPTBI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1]

I have two 14x24 inch tables ..one on each side of the recliner which have a single front facing drawer and slide out mouse table [ right side has firefly mouse mat ]
I built a keyboard stand from an old telephone table witch has 3 legs at the base, dark wood spiral center shaft and i stole the leg hardware off of
on of those cheap round press wood tables and drilled in the bolt at the top and screwed the baseplate to a 5x20 1/8 inch hard board to accept the Corsair
keyboard [ attached via velcro ]

I drilled into the keyboard and mounted a swivel bracket to hold the MFD ring into place [ https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-Cougar-Flight-Control-Panels/dp/B002HH9TRY/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=cougar+mfd&qid=1553697167&s=electronics&sr=1-1-catcorr ]

I used P clips to hold my Stream Deck display into the center of the MFD [ https://www.amazon.com/Elgato-Stream-Deck-Controller-Customizable/dp/B06XKNZT1P/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=stream+deck&qid=1553697276&s=electronics&sr=1-1 ]

Under the carpet i have a snake cable that feeds USB signal, Sub Audio, and AC Power to the chair. A powered USB hub drives the keyboard, Streamdeck, MFD, and my
Logitech x52 pro Flight System [ https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Saitek-Flight-Contol-System/dp/B01LZ1MQTL/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=logitech+x52+pro&qid=1553697472&s=electronics&sr=1-1 ]

The desk you see in the pic has its own computer running Mint Linux that i use exclusively for Air Force work stuff... and bills/taxes

Current build on my PC - Specs
Thermaltake Tower 900
Corsair AX-1200 watt PSU
AMD FX9370 Processor
EVGA 1070 Hybrid Graphics

Here is the final work on this mod - The backplane was cut from sheet steel then filed the corners with a round over
then sanded the entire project to remove any sharp edges. I dont own a press brake so i used my large vise to bend
the angle in the metal. Took it over to the drill press and pre drilled everything. After final sanding I took it outside and
sprayed 3 coats over probably an hour.

After all that i did another dry fit and marked the drill holes or the keyboard [ I opened it earlier to verify I wasnt going
to hit any electronics ] - Next i mounted the backplane to the keyboard and finalized angle adjustments. I used two
5 inch strips of 1 inch wide velcro to mount the tablet to the base and started routing the wires securing them with
"dolphins" https://www.newark.com/panduit/abm112-at-d0/cable-tie-mount-4-way-nylon-black/dp/65H8602
and tiny black UV Tie Wraps. Installed a better powered USB hub to run all these devices [ keyboard stayed directly
wired to the PC via snake cable under carpet in case of AC failure to hub. ]
