I can’t really say why or how exactly – but ever since Jared and CIG have taken more of a step back from videos and streams, my interest has dropped significantly. The current videos are basically just marketing showcases now, with very little meaningful content. I miss the old days when they used to talk about all the tech-nerd stuff in detail. But I’m also grateful to have been part of it and to have dreamed along with you and all the other community of old days about what’s now slowly becoming reality.

Count Disco will forever live in my heart. He was there at the best of times, he was there at the worst of times.

I like these vids too, though, I remember their intention was always at a certain point to get backers Playing more than Paying but yeah there have been some real fan favourites like Bugsmashers, Disco etc... Its a different type of energy now where the front end game is taking centre stage but perhaps we can make a TEST version if we still want that kind of style. We are lords of the 'Verse what's to stop us? Apart from talent. And skill. And access.

And having watched the video, oooh those rewards. My carebear side says Crusader but my TEST side says Hurston for the colour scheme. You can max out both, but do I'm really want to help Dynamics...?

Of course they are taking a step back, because the people they have hired recently and have been putting on ISC have been lampooned and maligned by tons of people. They make comments that a seasoned developed knows not to say, and push agendas on video that CIG doesn’t agree with, or knows the audience would not agree with so they don’t want to talk about it, but devs do….

Better for them to do a video that they can control the narrative on instead of doing constant retakes with a dev that will just feel put upon

I like Crusader ships and the old MISC design, but in planets/landing zones I'm more attached to ArcCorp atm.
