Looking for i7 6700, 6700k, 7700, 7700k - stateside (SOLVED)

Darj, have you come up with a solution for her as yet? I have two processors here, an i7-7700T and an i7-7700K. As I am looking to move to a Ryzen 9, either of these could be available now.
@Ayeteeone Oh dang! That'd be awesome. Do you think the T would be good enough for streaming considering it's a low power CPU? I'm looking at synthetic benchmarks and can't tell. It is much faster than the 6402p she's got now, but would it make better sense to just go for the higher power one and enjoy the overhead?

So the 7700T still has hyperthreading so it will still do well with multithreaded tasks like rendering and would probably do ok with some streaming. The 7700k is the version with the unlocked multiplier so it's overclockable, but that motherboard can't really supply the power needed to OC and I don't think it even has the capability to OC in the BIOS. If they are close in price, got for the k SKU. I would throw the whole setup into pcpartpicker.com to make sure you are good for power requirements since the TDP is like 60W difference between the two.

I've used the i7-7700T in 5 different projects that didn't indicate overclocking, 3 of those having extremely low power requirements. It's a fine chip for it's generation, and right now this one is back in my main until the Ryzen build takes its place.

The 7700K we decided to go for is only 26W more power hungry than the i5 she has now and I'm pretty sure she built her current PC with enough power reserve in mind, but will definitely check.
Another benefit the K has is higher clock speeds, which will help with encoding and maintaining good FPS in gaming.

maybe i need to roger up and show some photos of the progress of the house its only been what 2 years? and im still not moved in damn termites.
Just had her check, she's got a 600W PSU and with a GTX 1080, 16GB of ram, a SATA SSD, a HDD, and a couple of fans there'll be no issues providing enough power.
