Somewhere I have a pic of the Boeing CH-47 with a yellow and black paint job, compared with the Drake Cutter, and Corsair. The question I had was, when did Drake take over Boeing?

I like it too. If they don't announce the Connie getting a gold standard pass soon, I have a ccu waiting with the Andromeda's name on it.
Actually I believe Drake sailed under an english flag as he "explored" the spanish traderoutes and err.. helped himself to some free samples of their goods.
By the way, once naming becomes a thing for that ship I insist on "Golden Hind" in the spirit of an Elisabethan approach to Science.

Does the person who gets it to 1 pixel high get a Corsair from Montoya, or just the satisfaction of a joke carried too far?
Why not both. Let's ask Montoya to gift the lucky winner a Corsair called "The Fleeting Pixel". Though "TSS Prolonged Joke" works as well.
It's a great ship, unless you're flying in atmosphere, then it's an okay ship. I like mine.
