The hoplite is a weird one, its very close in Price to the redeemer which I rate better for the role

yeah the redeemer will be better than the hoplite but compared to the vangaurd its a one trick pony.

Exactly. And without the BUK ability. It's just too fill a hole until the Redeemer is ready.
