FYI, a used weapon in excellent condition is generally sold IRL to a store for 1/3 the original price, and to a customer by the store for 2/3 the original price. CIG is planning on paying much more than 1/3 to looters at the stores. When the mechanic comes in game to repair items yourself at a workstation, such as is on the Carrack and Polaris, the loot is going to be worth even more.
Cluster missiles--not really useful unless there is a critical hit dynamic where you have a chance to score a critical hit on a system disabling it despite armor. This really needs armor in game and component hit points all working to be useful and even then, a heavy hit will probably still have a better chance to disable a system than a cluster missile. At least this is how it plays out in Mechwarrior and how CIG has said they want this to work. I'm surprised they're bringing clusters into game before armor.
Question: does the ship components moved to the ship inventory screen mean you can have multiple versions of Q drive, for example; and swap them back and forth in flight to exchange speed for range, etc? Can you swap weapons in flight? Where do the components store when not in use? Can you do this in fighters that have no real storage? Many questions here.
