Ghost Hollow
1) The AI is super stupid here. The NPCs can't see a ship landing 70 meters away, and allow you to walk up on them from behind even in medium armor. Normally I would recommend a suppressor, but the targets are so spread out that there is no discernable benefit. Weapon reports only stretch out about 50 meters. After this a suppressor only lowers your damage to target.
2) First kill is a Black Armitex drop. This is the first Armitex drop I've seen that doesn't earn you a crimestat to obtain. Armitex is arguably the coolest armor in SC. Black Armitex is the coolest Armitex.
3) This is a mission of both the Security and BountyHunter mission lines. It's the kind of mission you'll need to complete about 30 times in order to progress to the next mission level. If you go with a partner like these guys, you only get half mission credit, and obviously, this is easy to do alone.
4) Note these loot boxes are grabbable. This doesn't happen often in caves and bunkers. Remember they won't last past a log, so best to haul them to your ship and unload them after the targets are all down, since you cannot run while carrying a loot box. They contain lots of food you can place in an empty backpack aboard your ship and it will persist. It will NOT persist if you leave it in the crate. This is a great mission for food and drink gathering so long as you have empty heavy backpacks--which you should. Also note the 4X missile drop--that is a pretty rare drop, super useful once you obtain a shoulder fired missile launcher. One box had 5 very expensive sniper scopes that cannot be purchased in game, and he left them all behind.
5) Good use of the healing pistol, which is NOT worth carrying unless you are in a party of 2 or more. Healing pistols take longer than pens, but can heal at range. His partner was down and completely immobilized, but not dead. There's no greater need for the healing pistol. He did not need to leave cover to save his partner.
6) He keeps forgetting to loot the bodies. Even if you are not interested in arms and armor, targets like this carry attachments to their weapons that are worth more than hadonite by volume. Check every downed target's torso, legs and weapon for drops. This is the kind of place you can find attachments you cannot buy. Note when he passed the dropped weapon after exiting the ship that the body he left there was gone. He lost his chance to loot it.
One of the best missions I have seen. Though it runs like a maze, there's no way to get lost as in a cave. Good drops but not as lucrative as the caves. This mission is worth doing over and over just to grab up a squad's worth of Black Armitex.
