Just curious if anyone else named a ship after a spouse, partner, or significant other. Or am I stand-alone doofus on this?

Unlike tattoos, ship names can be changed, so go crazy!

My issue with naming my ship/s after my partner is that they might find out how much I've pledged to the game.
Me: "Look at this, I've named my Hurculese after you because the Mrs. 'BobFace is strong yet graceful just like you!"
MrsBF: "That's nice, how much did that cost?"
Me: "Erm... All assets will be earnable in game...?"
Never mind that, but also <insert name> is being boarded! They are really hitting her hard! She can't take much more of this!
My husband would roll his eyes so hard if I named a ship after him, then ask "how much did that cost?"
I could use my wife's initials and name my flagship UEES MF, but she's been called mothaf%&$@ in multiplayer games so many times that I'm pretty sure my poor ship would be called the same.

Depending on circumstance, my wife might say, "You answered the wrong question. You see that small building outside, with the dog hair all over? Sleep there."

Naming a ship meaningfully, after an emotional connection, may make one fight harder to keep her afloat.... *shrugs*
More of a tribute to that special person, nothing more. Plenty name something of perceived value after a loved one. Just look into the number of stand-alone rights that have been sold over the years.
I have to wonder how many are truly auto correct and how many are just a freudian slip or a redaction on testing the waters that didn't land so well.
