Oh phew, and here I though I had to like, spend real money or something, but it's just a tank of gas.

I'm kinda interested in this ship tbh. Not really that into PvP dogfighting, but I do enjoy PvE fights (because the endorphin inducing number representing aUEC goes up). And this ship does seem more viable in PvE fights, especially when you want to grab a pristine bag of undamaged pre-owned parts to sell to shops.

It looks like the designers didn't pay much attention to the opening sequence in Star Wars (A New Hope.).

The rabel stacked elite armored trooper bodies like cord wood as they entered the ship.

I figured boarding like in Babylon 5's "The Gathering," or how the Galactica's Marines boarded in "Bastille Day" would be much more practical. Though Boarding Torpedoes from Warhammer 40K, Star Wars The Old Republic, or boarding craft of the Magog on Andromeda are a great alternative.

For the critical info
cost $100 warbond (with LTI and Hangar), $120 credit. This MIGHT be one of the CCU tokens of this year's event, leading me to speculate that an even bigger ship might be revealed other than the Mule and the Scorpion.
2 crew (1 pilot, 1 hacker)
8 jump seats for an attack force
2 remote turrets (both 2xS2), one on the bow, one at the back. Unknown if the pilot can control the front turret, I expect not, but it's possible
Utility mount: Docking Override Hacking Device
Two in one docking collar that "can dock with any ship or station"
3xS1 shield generators
2xS1 coolers
2xS1 Power Plants
1xS1 Radar
1xS1 Computer
2xSmall fuel intake
2xSmall Fuel Tank
1xSmall Quantum Drive
1xSmall Jump drive
1xSmall Quantum fuel tank
Heavy armor

Here is the new ship, its a stealthy, e-war boarding craft:

Montoya,

I think High performance means it will withstand greater G forces vs other jump seats. Foe example, the seats in a Starfarer's hold are technically jump seats, as are the seats in the back on the Cutlass Black. However, the Seats in the Valkyrie are much more substantial, and I suspect these will be of similar substance. That means you are probably more likely to live through a crash landing/hard hit on a ship/etc. than you would on a Cutlass Black

The stealth and e-war features gave the Legionnaire a 'hook' for me. That and its small size makes it a nice transport to pair with Idris, Polaris, and Liberator.

I'm wondering too if there will be NPC 'troop transfer' missions similar to anticipated NPC passenger transport gameplay. If so, this looks like a good ship for that.

But the big question on my mind is whether the Legionnaire is robust enough for the troop transport ship role that I should trade the Valkyrie for something else?

Great video as always... hmm my thought.. well yeah...right...
Another useless or think we should call this one a suicide ship
... 🤭
A Big Ship on route in a Galaxy far far away..: 🤭🤭🤭 - Oh look someone trying to dock..
4 guys with railguns and grenade launchers waiting inside docking door...
- Captain.. we're ready, Open all ship doors,...
Men with railguns and grenade launchers: -all fire inside the little hacking turtle docking collar catwalk.. Little hacking turtle explode... 😊🤭
- ..mm Okay, that was fun.. ..lunch anyone.. 👀😋
The Legionnaire is like the Terrapin brother.. The idea look good on paper, but in reality in game it have a very, very, very, narrow usefulness.
But it's kind of cool looking,.. kind of... hmm... Well until next time. 🤪
CHEERS!

I wonder whether it would stay connected if the "target" was to use its Quantum drive...

If so, I could see it having a secondary use as additional turrets\defences on an allied ship, while also blocking the docking ports from intruders.
