Behold, the 49-inch CHG90 super ultrawide gaming monitor from Samsung. Samsung's marketing photo simply doesn't do justice to the CHG90's incredible super-ultra-width, so here it is displaying an Excel spreadsheet to help put it into perspective.

Here's a look from a different angle.

It's curved, which helps keep the CHG90's outer edges in your peripheral vision. Without the curve, you'd probably be turning your head constantly, which could get uncomfortable after a while.

I thought the real reason to have an oversized form factor was to put secondary feeds on the sides. So one could open windows there, etc? Marc is the one to know. He is already running three screens.
4 screens, the 3 hd screens are for sc, gives you a very nice wide view. Combined with the trackir it works awesome!!!! The 4th screen above is for discord, monitoring, whatever.

Looks nice Makes me want to do some research after I finish my beer.I had a three screen setup Asus VG278's Went to a single XB270HU and gave the triple set to my nephew. I got tired of the different scaling on the side monitors.

So if I were to buy a new desktop with something like a single 1080i, that would run SC and provide a wider view with this than a single, normal sized screen? Do you actually see more with your three monitors or just have a prettier view?

How can there be different scaling on the side monitors? You had 3 identical monitors. I started with 1 Asus VS278 1920x1080 center display, 2 19" 1280x1024 side displays and 1 19" 1280x1024 top display. Now I have 1 Asus VS278 1920x1080 center display, 2 24" 1920x1200 side displays scaled to 1920x1080 and 1 20" 1680x1050 top display. Talking about scaling...

You see more, enemies, asteroids. The trackir even enhances that. When you turn your head, you actually are looking to the side instead of turning your head and stay looking forward to your screen. I have the displays at a short distance. When stretching out my arm, I can touch the displays.

I started to play SC with displays on the back of my desk, using ingame zoom for better aim. After playing 6 months like that, my rig broke down just before a TEST tournament. I refused to bug out the tournament, so I used my jobs laptop for participating the tournament. It had a powerful CPU, but the GPU was crap. I couldn't zoom in due to the stutter so I moved the displays to the front edge of my desk, sacrificing my desk space. No keyboard space left. It was much better to play, even when my rig was repaired I stayed playing like this. I made a keyboard mount on my chair, between the flightstick - strafestick mount.

Sacrificing my comfort for better play. I had to climb in and out of my chair.

Begin this year I started to build my new "desk". On this desk the display mount is even more curved, but can be slided back 35 cm to give me some desk space and additionally my chair can be slided back 80 cm to let me get out of the chair easier.
