Gottcha! You've been rickrolled, I mean, Expanse-rolled! Ha! :D
Seriously, if you like sci-fi, which you probably do as you are here, and you're watching some stoopid dance off show instead of the Expanse season 3, I dunno what's wrong with you...
Anyways, first episode was pretty good, although it ended a bit abruptly.
That paintjob and shape instantly reminded me of the M50 and the newer Origin ships. I could imagine it in SC, with the addition of cockpit windows, as a racing/fast info delivery ship that can go really fast on race tracks with longer straight sections but can't handle turns that well.
Or, to go a bit mad with ideas, I could imagine this as a single pilot ship the size of the space bikes, but with the pilot enclosed in it laying on his stomach, like in the vanduul ships, specifically made for a special type of racing, that takes place inside asteroid tunnels that were bored out almost smooth by mining. The wingless pod design and sort of pointy shape would allow it to careen off the walls of the tunnels, sort of like bob sledding. The real challange would be to avoid outcropping rocks and to find places where you can overtake without running into a slab jutting out of the wall. You could call it... I dunno, Pod Racing but in Spaaaace!
I'll see myslef out now
