Gawd that was a long essay. All so he could just say at the end "As of right now, there is no Star Citizen." over four years ago.
Because why write an original piece about the games current status when you can publish the hit piece from four years ago.

I find it funny that ANYBODY with any intelligence would still take Kotaku as anything more than a failing joke. The only time that they will ever be worth reading again at this point would be them posting that the message is the last to be posted & they are shutting down permanently. RIP the careers of all writers, editors & management of Kotaku. They will find comfort in that their careers have died & now exist with their ethics / integrity.

I regularly read all coverage of Star Citizen, good and bad.
Anybody with a smart device that gives you a news feed was getting this story, as you can see by the comment section in my video, lots of people saw this story before I mentioned it.
We do not need to ignore it, Kotaku UK managed to make itself go away :D

Best part of my random news feed, I saw the headline AND the "This article originally published in 2016" text without opening it, Kotaku aint get no money from me!
Kotaku's articles take longer to decay than fast food and that (lack-of) information is harder to digest too. The only reason they get any viewership, it seems, is because their articles are so mis-and-under informed that people begin to marvel at the clearly editorial mess.
Kotaku was good once...once... now its like Rock Paper Shotgun, clickbait ftw and that is all. Sad.
I'd be willing to "pay" Kotaku to get a reality check & put away their partison BS out of commission for good, but I'd ONLY be willing to pay them with "bills" that are printed on that sort of paper that when triggered burst into a flash of flames that magicians sometimes use. Let them get their hopes up, before they realize that just like the "bills" their future careers in "journalism" have gone up in flame.
