What you linked us to, was a player owned / run Org called Gatac, not the CIG info page on the in game company called Gatac.

Just scroll down to the second image on that page, which shows two Railen pursuing a Caterpillar.

I see. From my POV, if CIG was to give us an assault Railen, I'd say that it would make a perfect missile swarm ship. Simply fill the cargo pods with triangular missile cluster pods, haul them as though any other cargo & when radar detects aggressors incoming, give them a broadside of incoming missiles for them to deal with instead.
