I wish I can join you guys. I only played because many here were playing. But I created a toon on US West, I didn't know cross region transfers were not a thing. So now I'm stuck here, I'll be 60 today and I don't think I can go through the grind again :(
Maybe one day the will allow cross region transfers, until then you are vanquished!
Trying to play New World but now running into the "suspicious software or corrupted install detected" error, which kills the game's launch.

Kinda crazy. Nothing has changed on my PC since I played last week, to my knowledge. Its a bummer waiting through a 350+ person queue then getting this message. Twice now.
Has anyone else run into this and found a fix?

Have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it again? Verify integrity via Steam and all that.
AGS has been pretty aggressive going after cheat software lately. You might have gotten roped up. Also do check that you don't have software running in the background that might mess with the game.
Thanks! Yes, Steam verifies all game files are present.
I can redownload, but is there a point in doing that if Steam verifies the files? Others are saying that has not helped.
I'll probably just sit it out for a while and see if this gets resolved. AGS must be running something a little too aggressively to tackle their security problem.

Try opening up a customer support ticket with them.
I had an account issue as well and they resolved it within 48 hours. Their Support team actually isn't that bad.

Restart your PC
Open up your CMD (Command Prompt) in Admin mode.
Type" "ipconfig /flushdns"
Looks like New World is taking a page from CIG and launching a PTU, they call it the PTR.

GO GRAB ORICHALCUM! Mine all you can, fill up every town's storage with it! When the server transfer comes, you will be in good shape.
Orichalcum Ore costs 0.01 coin on my server. You can find them on the ground in settlements people just discard them. There are tens of thousands unit at that price no one buys hehe.
In the meanwhile, Iron Ore is worth 12x more on my server. But I know what you mean, I played the AH since day 1. I'm buying cheap stuff from my server and saving them.
