Is it just me or has Nine Tails been recruiting a SHIT TON lately? Every bunker I go to has about a gazillion guys pouring out of it. Makes for a hell of a gunfight, but I GOTTA assume this one is a bug. Anyone else running into this?

Nope, since the last patch those are the usual numbers.
You can even the odds by taking a Nova tank down into the bunker. The overwhelming firepower should even the odds.
If you can't fit one on the elevator, do what @Blind Owl does and take a Stevetank instead. It's almost as effective and the NPCs still stand no chance no matter how many there are.
Also grenades.... lots and lots of grenades.

They fixed it, and now I'm sad. But at least I can solo the ASD missions now. Silver lining I suppose

I reckon they're all be poor souls from Hurston. Maybe some from Arc Corp.
Crusader and Microtech don't seem to be the types to put their residents (workers/exworkers?) I'm a position to have to resort to that line of work.
