Nvidia event is starting now

On the one hand, "Woo-hoo! another toy to buy!"
On the other hand, for Star Citizen, at least, in its currently unoptimized state, it isn't likely to make a huge difference. That being said, I run it on 3 monitors, so it should likely help pusch MOAR PIXELS faster and up my fps that way...I think...at least, that's what I'll tell myself. The 3070 is supposed to be better than my current 1080Ti, so it should be worth an upgrade...anybody want to buy a 1080Ti?

I'm hoping for some competitive goodies from AMD, however I remember the community hype around Vegas and how that failed to materialise... I'll wait and see what's delivered rather than jumping on the choo choo.

Other than that, i'm waiting for this gen series to decimate the used market in last gen gear.
