A fleet of Auroras will constantly be circling the Montoya Star Runner (yes, CR just renamed it - formerly the Mercury). Anything that would hit Glorious Leader’s ship will be intercepted by these Auroras. If any Auroras should be destroyed, two more will instantly take its place.
I have to say I too find myself contemplating keeping the Andromeda as I also have the Phoenix and 600i. You make some compelling arguments for ditching the Andromeda for the Mercury.

I think so long as you commit to run rather than fight, it's a great ship. Would love to see how it does in Void Armor.
Should be a bigger breadwinner than the Connie for hauling cargo since it's faster, and of course you can run Data.

I really like the look of it myself, so it wasn't a hard decision to melt down the herald and freelancer.

Its confirmed, Montoya's vibrator is the Mercury Star Runner. Clearly heard at the start of the video.
Tough decision for sure. If you’re wanting LTI you could always pick up a CCU to it now and not apply, that way you’re not too much in.
