Based on the first picture, I originally thought it was going to be another in the 100 series of ships - Same narrow cockpit area, with small cabin behind.

I wonder if the area with the red light around it at the rear of the cabin is for components, or the bed is located in a "tunnel" there like the Aurora series.

The M80?
Pronounced "The Mighty"?
Or more like "The Matey"?
Anyhow, looks like an Avenger -MAX with Origin DNA.
If it's a heavy fighter like the Shiv, so with some storage for... lucky finds... (cough) then i'm already sold on this.
IF the M stands for Multiuse and it's an Origin competitor to the Clipper only better armed an armored...
...

Oh boy... that M80...
It looks fast and all but not like it's got much room inside. And weaponwise that's two S3 Guns by the looks of it. If it got no retractable S5 spinal cannon then I don't see this as a heavy fighter of any sort.
More like a lovechild between an M50 and the 300i series.
It does seem compact though. So it might fit in a lot of hangars and maybe some cargoholds.
Maybe it's a racer after all? Most of those fit pretty much anywhere.
One way or another, can't wait to TEST it.

The Origin numbering system now makes my head hurt. How does an M80 fit in the lineup as a heavy fighter? Cool looking ship though. Perhaps a little too real world looking?
Yep, agreed on the too real world lookin! I'm not impressed. Looks cool but generic, also is this what now, the 5th style language for Origin?

Only thing I want for from Origin is an E39 aka 500i, a true best of the best mostly soloable allrounder with style.

The Origin numbering system now makes my head hurt.
Its not that complicated at all.
You know the M50, right?
Like that, just bigger.
Heavier.
Better armed and armored.
With a loo included.
And with a different focus.
More expensive obviously.
But otherwise its simply a M50 + 30.
Continuity assured.

I see the 2x s3's on the wing tips but what's those two pods below the body back near the landing gear? 2x8 s1 missiles for 32 in total maybe...?

Either way she'll have to be fast to stay in one piece with just 2x s3's.

That thing sure is... an, uh, attractive Origin design... like usual.

I'm sorry, that thing is hideous. When I first saw it, I threw up in my mouth a little.

I like the design but I think the image deceive on the actual size: the rear carriage has 3 set of wheel and while we don't have any reference on the actual size based on the standard that looks bigger then the tracked one on the Vanguard... if that is true this ship is not that small as it seams, and if it is as bigger as I expect I suppose we could expect 2x S4 and at least some S2 missile.

Not sure about the cockpit area, seams a bit oversized for a single seater, maybe a double seater with in-line position (ala Cutlass)?
