Ouch. I got bored of Nyx so I decided to shove my stuff into a 2u box and go back to stanton. Got interdicted on the way to the jump gate and ganked by a perseus and several fighters. Lost all my stuff.

Tough lesson!

The sad thing for me is as the victim there was literally zero way for me to come out on top - not able to outrun them and getting plonked in the middle of the attackers with 0 shields meant no matter what I did I was dead in 60 seconds.

I am not convinced the changes to shields/quantum were a good idea, particularly when being interdicted. It was too hard to kill someone if they were jumping out before but now it's far too easy and the victim has no chance.

Stanton Gateway to Levski has been a very popular route for interdiction. If you're at Stanton Gateway you should QT part way to the Pyro Gateway before continuing on to Levski. If you're starting at Levski I would do a quick hop towards the Pyro Gate before going to Stanton. That should help you avoid the range of the interdiction bubbles. The route between Pyro and Levski isn't being camped as often, but would still avoid the direct routes if you have anything of value you don't want to lose.

Well, since I'm in the habit or earning my gas-money as I go I usually pick one of the cheap missions like "Investigate wreck" before heading out of the system.
Seems that keeps my vector unpredictable enough. It's been ages since last I was intercepted.
Now if you ask when my ship was last destroyed by some bored w@n##r with way to many rockets at his/her disposal, that's not even a day ago.
