I thought the Perseus had two big dorsal turrets but turns out one is ventral, so given the expected armor this may be perfect to fly in over a battlefield and own everyone. I don’t see how tonks and Ballistas can resist such formidable guns.
Note it is now in erkul. 6 point defense weapons seems to me will be nerfed.
The cargo bay looks large enough for a Nursa, an MTC and several Nox—a whole ground force.
The armory is so welcome, and really nice. Huge step up from what CIG promised, same as the turrets, which are now size 8.
Note the Polaris is significantly quieter than this ship, especially when you start turning stuff off. This ship is NOT designed to play cat and mouse. No hiding.
I absolutely love this ship, but the question whether the point defense will or will not be nerfed makes all the difference. If it is seriously proof against torps, it is survivable through a host of situations, which seems a little OP.
The guy making this vid wants CIG to change it so this ship can survive a couple hits from the Idris railgun. Fat chance of that. This is for bullying smaller ships, and maybe the Polaris, but it is not intended to go toe to toe with ships of the line like the Idris.

I mean, if it can get one shot by an idris, and anything smaller than a Connie can outrun it, it’s not too OP right? Seems like a bit of a glass cannon to me.
CIG enlargement strikes again, with the turrets now appearing a little oversized to the body of the ship, which makes me sad, but at least it didn’t get the carrack treatment.
Overall, looks pretty good imo!
