question about re-buying Melted packs

I figure this is an appropriate place for the question as it deals with buying/selling.

I have a multi-ship pack that I melted. Example, Fighter Squadron Pack
This pack is no longer available in the store as of Oct. 18, 2016.
oct. 19 I get paid, can I then buy it with "new" cash?

I could be completely overthinking this and it is no different than "new" cash to re-buy a melted ship.

AFAIK, as long as it doesn't contain any physical items like some of the original pledges you should be good to go.

I have been able to rebuy packs in the past, so should be good to go.

A TESTtie sold me Retaliator modules out of his buyback with real cash a few months ago. The buyback is only restricted with store credits.
