Not tha bad... but now I have a question: that does this ship have over using a couple of Sabre (same exact weapon load)?
Considering that a two ship indipendent will llikely be more effective since there are two target instead of one and two treath instead of one (for the same amount of firepower)?

After all it comes with glowing reports from Test Squadron.

Fully endorsed by the UEE Navy, and with glowing reports from the Wreckless 999th test squadron
I have a feeling its going to fit nicely in the Polaris.

The Scorpius’ pure firepower means it can take on any foe in almost any situation, and its convertible frame makes it ideal for carriers of varying class. Patented shock/lock resistance makes the transition to flight mode smooth and speedy. Its ferocity and versatility mean the Scorpius is truly the next level of two-seater heavy fighters.

It's a good question. But in this case I have to think it comes down to logistics and storage capacity of the carrier wing. Would you rather have two Scorpius or two Sabre's as they take up similar space in the Idris.

It might be possible to slave the turret to the pilot reticle so it wouldn't need two players. And while it wouldn't take advantage of the turrets full capability it would increase the amount of forward firing at the engaged target. Now if NPC AI co pilots become a thing that would be an option. This is going to be the same question for the Hurricane and Super Hornet.

Yeah. I doubt anyone is going to fly this with a second person. Its role is severely restrained with all S1 components, but it packs such a hard punch that unless is handles like a garbage scow, I think it's going to be everyone's first choice of short range escort. I can imagine flying half dozen of these off a Polaris and refueling them 2 at a time--if--wthe pilot gets control of the turret while forward. Otherwise no one is going to want this.

Twice the guns of a Sabre but 2/3 the shields, more fragile, easier to hit, slower and no stealth. Think I'll wait for the F8.

The Talon was pretty and I'm a Tevarin Sympathiser but a light fighter I am not and I need a wall of pew to hit the broad side of a barn. Upgraded as a stable mate to my Sentential, gimmie the chonk.

Now, I wonder if those gimbals can be removed and I can have 4x fixed s3 to compliment the 4xs3 turret?

EDIT - Oh ass that's what I was going to CCU in to a Nova tonk...

It is smaller than I expected while the guns being larger than I expected.

Not a Vanguard replacement but it definitely obsoletes the Hurricane.

For me this is a pass. I am restricting myself to one Carrier Fighter, and that slot belongs to our Hawks.
