Relax my friend, they have gone on sale each year for at least the past couple years during the Anniversary sales.

You can melt them, buy it, melt it 24 hours later & buy them back with creds 1 per quarter year to the best of my knowledge. Then pay for it with regular funds out of your buyback when you can afford.

I was hoping to do a CCU upgrade to 1 of these from an LTI token of mine, but no luck.

You can can't CCU to a phoenix, never have been able to, maybe never will.

Disco Lando told me during an episode of TheAstroPub on Twitch that the 890J & the Phoenix will never be available for CCU because CIG wants to restrict how common they will be in the Verse.

Man that ship is tempting but then would I want that or the 600i? I can upgrade my MM to the 600i and have LTI, but would have to melt it for the Phoenix.

I'm not a big fan of the phoenix i use to be but compared with other luxury ships such as origin i dont see the phoenix on a high spectrum anymore especially at 350 usd.
