Ship Upgraded components intact after insurance claim?

Did this just happen in 3.7? Because before components that you upgrade were lost on an insurance claim.

I knew the customize 300s would retain their upgrades, but I didn't know player upgrades were also persistent. That's terrific, this week going to work on making my Sabre super.
