Should I upgrade to the Cutlass before 3.0?

Hey guys. So I got a little cash to spend and wanna get my Avenger Titan upgraded to the Cutlass. But im not sure if it's (decent) flyable right now as I've seen some posts about a rework? Advice please. I want the Cutlass so would rather wait than upgrade to a different ship. Well, maybe the Freelancer lol

Edit: I'll extrapolate. The Cutlass has been reworked, and will be released with 3.0. She's a beauty now, with 6 x size 3 weapons on her. She's also grown significantly. She's bring a lot of firepower, but may not be nimbly-bumble, so she may not be the best dog fighter.

I own the Avenger Stalker, and started eyeing the Cutlass. That was about a year ago and I got the Cutlass. It's a nice ship, and it's going to get nicer after the rework and when 3.0 drops. If anything, they might slightly raise the price of the Cutlass after the rework is released. I'd go for it and get it soon™.

It is going to be a very nice multi-purpose platform and I look forward to the rework finally heading out into the Verse! I upgraded from an Avenger Titan 6 months ago and have been chomping at the bit to get my hand on the new Cutlass.

In my, admittedly noobish, opinion, I think the Cutlass is a dream ship for solo piloting (without having to hire NPC). I even like it in its current state, though it def needed the rework. I am, however, extremely biased towards Drake. I love all their ships and I like their position in the lore.

The Cutlass Black flies very well right now, I take it on several ICC missions.
The new Re-worked version will be 3x better.

Also, the price will go up very soon.

Current owners will get the rework. I haven't heard anything to the contrary.
