Im not sure if it works with Star CItizen but if Star Citizen can use OpenTrack it should work apparantly.

i haven't tried this one, but i've tried several "cheap systems". And while they all work somehow, each system hasn't totally convinced me. Especially in reliability.

The TrackIR uses proprietary axis. It isn't replaced by a controller axis (I hope that my wording is correct there) Any other tracking software tries to mimic head movement to an axis. That is the big difference. My best advice would be: buy the cheapest TrackIR option, then use a 2nd party wireless active track option.
