Now that Alpha 3.18.0 PTU is open to all backers, let's go to one of the new Points of Interest in the verse: The Whistler's Crypt

Spoiler alert: do not scroll down if your inner Dora The Explorer wants you to find the place by yourself once 3.18.0 goes Live!

Next location: New Derelict Outpost on Yela.

Spoiler Alert!

----------
Location: Yela, near Utopia Security Outpost

Directions:

Option A: Accept the Retrieval Op mission from Northrock Service Group -- Personal / Retrieval Op. 8000 aUEC
Option B: Fly to Utopia on Yela; Derelict Outpost is located within walking distance from the security facility (see the last screenshots below)

Requirements:
Small arms and ammo, med gun or multitool with medical attachment and tractor beam attachment.

Amenities on site:
Few loot boxes with food, drinks, ammo and FPS equipment.

Notes:
It's not easy to leave the crater on foot due to steep slopes; either fly to the destroyed camp from the main site, use AWD ground vehicle, or walk to the right side of the crater, looking at the main site.

Mission boxes can be spawned inside locked hangars in the camp; you can jump inside, then use one of the movable objects to reach the hole in the wall.

Every time I see the 600 wreck I just have to shake my head as they are going to have to rework it given the huge changes to the 600 interior in the works.

Ah, but which year 600 will the wreck one be? The interior of a 1998 Ford Focus is very different to the interior of a 2020 Ford Focus.

True, would be ingesting is that was the angle they went with but I'd bet you a case of beer that they end up reworking the wreck to match the interior.
That is a bet i will not be taking you up on.

And now for something completely different, one of the new racetracks: Yadar Valley on Daymar

Spoiler alert!

----------
Location: Daymar, near The Garden Security Outpost

Directions:

Option A: Accept the mission Spaceship Time Trial: Yadar Valley available in Racing tab
Option B: Fly to The Garden outpost on Daymar; racetrack is located around 1km from the facility and can be easily seen while approaching the area

Requirements:
None

Amenities on site:
None

Notes:
Thanks to the varied terrain, Yadar Valley is a good FPS PVP location. The site is large and it's surrounded by the hills and shallow canyons (see screenshots below), which makes it relatively difficult to guard. There are no interiors nor loot boxes on site though.

It's easy to navigate to Yadar Valley as it's located close to named POI. The site is a weapon-free zone.

Time for another time trial racetrack: Miner's Lament

Spoiler alert!

----------
Location: Yela Belt

Directions:

Option A: Accept the mission Spaceship Time Trial: Miner's Lament available in Racing tab
Option B: Fly to GrimHex area, then use Miner's Lament marker and jump

There are few landing pads on site; unfortunately, none of them have artificial gravity, similarly to Yadar Valley tower pads.
