With Stella Fortuna being totally forgot about by CIG and not mentioned in the weekly notes. And with the 3.18 dumpster fire the real question remains.....Will CIG miss a sale?
We should start a campaign and demand LTI Phoenix's be offered for sale!!!!

Your wish is granted. IF you are Concierge, and have enough cash or credit on hand to buy the RSI Flyables Pack 2953. Does what it says on the tin; all ships currently in game from RSI, with LTI.

No Emerald skin though.
I saw that and appreciate it, I tend to stay as far away from packs as possible. The value in them is just not worth it when I could build the whole pack for around 50%, but won't say no to a WB LTI Phoenix!

Beyond ships, another value of game packages is that they will enable creation of AI-controlled 'free' NPC crewmen. CIG's 'Multipackage Clarification' is found in this older (but classic) post: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/13288-Multiple-Package-Clarification#:~:text=Many of Star Citizen’s ships, such as the, help man turrets, run consoles and fly escort.

Relevant quotes from that post:

"Unused (Package-acquired) Game Character slots without an associated ship or credits have two roles. They can be used to create additional crewmen or they can be gifted to other players."
"Players will always be able to hire NPC crewmen in the game, contracting computer-controlled crews to help man turrets, run consoles and fly escort. If you would like the option of customizing your crew, you can create your own NPCs by using a Game Character slot. You will go through the same character creation process as your player character but will then have the option of handing off control to an AI. As an additional bonus, friends can ‘drop in’ to take over these crewmen themselves and to help man your spacecraft when available."
We don't yet know what AI-run NPC crewman may otherwise cost (especially if LTI and rarity factors are applied to them as well).

No need to worry... JakeAcappella-CIG has already addressed the issue on Spectrum:
Hey all, Stella Fortuna is indeed coming in the near future, and we'll share info once we have it.
Source: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/stella-fortuna-2

One of the probable reasons for the release of 3.18 last week was to have it playable for Stella Fortuna, rather than needing a 3.17.6 patch... It may be they forgot to add it to the weekly update and it will still happen on the 16th, or it may be that they wanted 3.18 to be "stable" first and will hold off until next week, delaying the event.

Note, game pack NPCs will still cost you money to "hire" them. You only get to customize what they look like.
And, hopefully, their skill levels for various roles...

It would be nice to be able to "distribute" them around the 'verse as well (with a ship) and to be able to "log on" as them to play different game loops\explore areas rather than needing to fly there with the main character.

St. Patrick's Day 2023 - Stock-Limited Ship Waves
Pinned
Discussion
Hello, everyone!

Stella Fortuna may be a little behind schedule this year, but there's still time to kick back, have a drink, and challenge fate. It was important to us to be sure we could get the servers into a better state before kicking things off, and while there's still more work to be done, we've had a number of improvements go out, and we're seeing many of you now able to jump in and play.

In addition to an all-Origin-themed promotion, you'll see the return of some stock-limited Fortuna ship packs (which include the Constellation Phoenix Emerald), the highly limited 890 Jump, as well as our Stella Fortuna paints (both new and returning).

Catch the three waves at the following times:
  • Wave 1: March 17 - 16:00 UTC - noon EDT on the 17th
  • Wave 2: March 18 - 00:00 UTC - 8 pm EDT on the 17th
  • Wave 3: March 18 - 08:00 UTC - 4 am EDT on the 18th

And, of course, you can also look forward to another exciting community contest to win big! More details to follow.

Go n-éirí an bóthar leat!

Well, I have absolutely no interest in the Hammerhead, and only a limited amount in the Redeemer or Vanguard, so I'll probably skip the new green skins...

For those after the Constellation Phoenix Emerald, I'd guess we'll possibly see the return of:
No LTI - $495 ($440 WB) - Fortuna Legends pack - Phoenix Emerald, p72 emerald, Ursa Fortuna, Cyclone MT
And hopefully:
LTI - $1450 ($1300 WB) - Fortuna Ultimate Party Pack - Phoenix Emerald, p72 emerald, Ursa Fortuna, Cyclone MT, MSR, 400i, 600i Explorer (plus green paints for the last 3)

There will also probably be a new (LTI) pack containing:
Phoenix Emerald, p72 emerald, Ursa Fortuna, Cyclone MT, Hammerhead, Vanguard (I think it's the Harbinger in the picture), Redeemer (plus green paints for the last 3).
I would estimate the price for this will be around $1750 ($1600 WB).

Each of the ships with new paints (Hammerhead, Vanguards, Redeemer) and possibly last year's ships (MSR, 400i, both 600i) will also be available to buy packaged with their paint, and possibly without.

Thing is, why show Aegis ships when they say all Origin themed promotion. Something isn’t right…

Last year they had an origin sale linked to the event (100 series, 300 series, along with 400i and 600i which received green skins). It looks like they have decided to continue to associate Origin with Stella Fortuna (I would guess it's because they have no Origin ships planned for release before IAE, so it's the best additional "sale" option for them, as they don't fit into Invictus).

The Aegis ships are pictured because CIG have decided to give these ships a green paint scheme this year as part of Stella Fortuna, in the same way the 400i and 600i received them last year and the MSR received one the year before.

I was under the impression my 'regular' $350 Phoenix already CAME with both a P72 and Lynx Rover; is that not the case or are you really only getting a Cyclone and some green paints for the additional $95-145?
