Has anyone ever heard mention of player deployed telescopes that can do whole system observation in real time?
The Endeavour has a big ass telescope module but no one really knows what the intention for it is at this point.

There is also the imperial Cartography Centre who we got missions off of in patch 2.5 and before, they seemed to have some nice toys in that probe of theirs:

Todd Papy spoke about using the Endeavor Radio Telescope to scan large areas of a system while discussing the Long Range Scanning mechanic. He expressed that they were considering it to work like opening an aperture and collecting data over time. There was never anything at all about doing an entire system at once.

Edit: Todd's not with the company anymore, and I'm not aware of anyone else who would be working on the idea at this point. So I guess we will see what happens.
