I said that the corvette would be used in a TNGS-style contest. That means the corvette could be made by anyone in the community in a new contest. I have my money on Santobell of Bell-Anzac.
Nowhere did I say in my statement that they'd use a ship from the last TNGS contest.
If the ship is stupid rare but buyable by cit-con attendees then I will happily volunteer my account for the purchase and transfer of said ship.

It's not coming anytime soon. I expect to hear about the Corvette by mid 2016 or late.

They said that limited edition ships such as the glaive, would have some put aside for concierge (or was it subscribers i forget) as a thank you and added perk. I think it was concierge as all we get now is a fancy button to submit trouble tickets. This wouldn't take away from the original amount to be sold. This didn't happen with the glaive or other ships, so I think they forgot about it. I just remember people throwing a fit about it, calling it unfair.

smaller than a frigate, I want to say around 1/2 to 3/4 size of frigate. Modern corvettes are 500-2000 tons (most are around 1500-2000 tons) , with some reaching 3000 tons. Modern Frigates can go from 4000-7000 tons (majority are 4000-5000 tons, while "heavy frigates" are 5500-7000 tons).
Oh I wasn't saying you said it. Someone asked on RTV if it would be one of the older TNGS or more specifically the scimitar I believe.
We can't crowd fund that which we do not know about, but if there is some major surprise like a Corvette (which I doubt), I can always grab one on my credit card and we can crowd fund it after the fact if we deem it as being important for the org.
The only remaining ship we need as an org is the Crucible repair ship, after that I think we are pretty much done.
Everything else we will get in the game!
